A nail visit takes about ten minutes: nails clipped, edges smoothed with a grinder if your dog tolerates it, and the hair between the pads trimmed so paws stop sliding on hard floors. We also tidy faces and sanitary areas on request, the small jobs that keep a dog comfortable between grooms.
If you can hear clicking on the kitchen floor, the nails are overdue. Long nails change how a dog stands and walks, and the quick inside the nail grows out with them, so the fix is regular short trims rather than one big cut. Most people fall into an every-three-to-four-week rhythm. Call ahead and we will fit you in around the day's grooms.
